Why training matters

Fire safety training is an integral part of your fire risk assessment and fire strategy, and a legal requirement under the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005.

Every employer must make sure each employee receives adequate training and documented instructions appropriate to their responsibilities in the event of a fire.

How our courses work

We tailor each course to your workplace and its specific risks, so your staff are trained to the level the law requires. All we need is a wall for our projector and enough seating. Every attendee receives a certificate of attendance.

Questions we're often asked

Is fire safety training mandatory?

Yes. All staff must receive appropriate fire safety training, including what to do in the event of a fire, how to raise the alarm and how to evacuate.

What training do businesses typically need?

Fire awareness for all staff, fire warden or fire marshal training for nominated people, evacuation procedures and, where appropriate, practical extinguisher training. It should reflect the risks in your fire risk assessment.

What do we need to provide?

A wall for our projector and enough seating. Every attendee receives a certificate of attendance.

From our clients

Gary who attended was great. He was very professional and advised on some bits we needed to adapt. He helped with questions I had with regards to regulations and explained in detail everything required.
